THRIVE - Student Well-Being at 91×ÔÅÄ

THRIVE Logo

Live well. Learn well. THRiVE.

At 91×ÔÅÄ, well-being encompasses all we need to grow, engage, connect, and succeed in both life and learning. THRiVE is OHIO’s ongoing well-being initiative, designed to help every Bobcat engage with health and well-being in meaningful and manageable ways.

From small, practical steps to comprehensive care, THRiVE helps Bobcats connect to what they need to live well and learn well.

Why THRiVE Exists

When students’ physical, mental, and social health is supported, they are better able to learn, stay engaged and succeed. THRiVE is 91×ÔÅÄ’s well-being initiative: it’s not about doing more, but about helping each member of our OHIO community quickly and meaningfully connect with the best actionable step or resource to meet the moment. Bobcats already deeply care about well-being and each other. THRiVE exists to support and grow our shared commitment, so we might improve our quality of life and whole-person health.

From recurring campus events like THRiVE Week and THRiVE Thursdays and spaces like the Ping Center’s Well-Being Wing designed to help students engage with one another and relax and recharge from the stresses of college life, to individual and confidential skills-based mental health and suicide prevention support, our people and programs are here for you right when you need us, to help you clear the path to academic success and whole-person well-being – now, and for life.

What is "Well-Being?"

At 91×ÔÅÄ, we define well-being using these four components:

Fundamental

Access to food, housing, safety, healthcare, and financial stability and the conditions that support physical and mental health.

Personal

Making positive choices, finding purpose, building resilience, and engaging in meaningful experiences.

Social

Building relationships, supporting one another, and rejecting prejudice and bias as we Make Respect Visible.

University-Wide

Institutional support for all Bobcats, creating conditions where students can thrive in and out of the classroom.
