Local author storytime with Kate Hoefler: βThe Couch in the Yardβ
The Zanesville Campus Library is thrilled to host an engaging storytime event featuring local author in Herrold Hall at 91ΧΤΕΔ Zanesville. Attendees of all ages will have the opportunity to hear Hoefler read her newest childrenβs book, βThe Couch in the Yard,β and participate in family-friendly activities.
βThis is a wonderful opportunity for the community to celebrate literacy and creativity together,β said Heather Sands, manager of Campus Communications and External Relations at OHIO Zanesville. βWe canβt wait to welcome Kate Hoefler to share her latest book and connect with families through storytelling, crafts, and fun.β
Hoefler, the library support specialist for 91ΧΤΕΔ Zanesville and Zane State College, has been writing childrenβs books for a decade. Her debut picture book, βReal Cowboys,β won the Friends of American Writers Chicago Award in Juvenile Literature. Several of her subsequent works have been recognized as 91ΧΤΕΔana Award Finalists, and she is the first three-time Floydβs Pick Honor author.
