Services Offered

  • Clinical breast exams
  • Breast health education
  • Same-day mammogram appointments
  • Free mammograms for eligible patients
  • Routine pelvic exam and pap test

Clinical services are provided by a certified nurse practitioner. All clinics are comprehensive, in collaboration with mobile mammography and/or hospital systems to provide same-day clinical breast exams, pelvic exams, pap tests, hemoccult tests and screening mammograms, as needed. The Heritage Community Clinic partners with local health departments, hospital systems, health care providers, worksites, and the 91×ÔÅÄ Breast and Cervical Cancer Project. Breast health education is available for interested groups.

Community Health Programs, with the support of the , provides free women's health services and education. Services are offered at Heritage Community Clinic in Athens and on the mobile health units that travel throughout southeastern 91×ÔÅÄ. Our goal is to decrease late breast and cervical cancer diagnosis rates by offering free health screenings, vouchers for mammograms to qualifying women and referrals, as needed.
