Our Mission

The mission of Doctors on the Streets is to help close gaps in healthcare access for individuals experiencing homelessness by providing safe, equitable, and compassionate health and wellness services. We strive to foster a community culture of care, reduce stigma and misconceptions surrounding homelessness, and connect individuals with vital healthcare and social resources. Through these efforts, we also provide medical students with meaningful opportunities to develop their clinical skills, engage in service-learning, and gain a deeper understanding of the health needs and challenges facing underserved populations within their communities.
